  • Speaker - Dr Roger Neighbour In this seminar based on his 2016 book "The Inner Physician", Roger Neighbour (author of "The Inner Consultation") suggests that every doctor retains an untrained ‘ordinary human being’ part that makes an important but often neglected contribution to practice. Drawing upon film and literature as well as clinical examples, Roger aims to help participants recognise those aspects of their personal histories, emotions and personalities that impact on patients. Drawing on the non-medical parts of our experience can enhance our insight and empathy with patients, and makes for greater effectiveness in the consulting room. You can expect to be stimulated, intrigued and challenged – but ultimately inspired!
